SEO for Hospitality Furniture
SEO for Hospitality Furniture is not one of the usual subjects I talk about but I found someone on twitter who seemed to have some interesting points so I thought I would investigate the industry from an SEO point of view.
I have to be honest and say that I have worked in hundreds of industries but haven’t touched or heard of this one, so if you are a blind as I am the industry consists of buying or renting furniture for the hotel/pub/restaurant industry and many more sectors.
You don’t tend to think of where the furniture came from when sitting in a pub, or even think I wonder who supplies the tables and chairs until you set up a business like that.
The average Joe like me would tend to go on Google and search for generic terms like “furniture for pubs” not knowing they should be searching for “Hospitality Furniture” or “Contract Furniture” so as a seller of the product you will have the problem of trying to cover all bases with keyword variation.
The second problem you will have is all the websites on page for these terms have been around as long as Google, giving you a disadvantage when it comes to SEO.
The third issue you will find is Links, if you look at the table below, you will see a snap shot of the link portfolio of the company satellite browns who rank number one on Google for “Hospitality Furniture” click to enlarge.
You will see that the website has had SEO applied to it in the form of link building as nearly all the anchor text is pointed towards the keywords they want to rank for.
There are probably another 5 or 6 major contributing factors but if you want to get a full free analysis get in touch and I will show you what is required to beat the likes of Satellite browns.
